The Carrollton Courthouse, located in New Orleans, Louisiana, was designed by architect Henry Howard and built in 1852. Originally the Carrollton Courthouse for the Town of Carrollton, this building served continuously as a public school from 1889 until 2013: John McDonogh 23, Benjamin Franklin High School, Lusher Extension and Audubon Extension. It was sold at auction and is currently is being renovated as an assisted living facility.
