As a native New Orleanian, I have always been interested in the beauty of the surrounding environment, both natural and manmade. While working on my bachelor's degree in fine arts at the University of New Orleans, I studied printmaking and photography. Recently, I had the opportunity to continue my study of darkroom photography, along with ceramics, at Tulane University.
My favorite printmaking techniques include: stone lithography, linocuts, etchings, photoetchings, and woodcuts. I also enjoy darkroom photography, using black and white film, and creating photograms in the darkroom.
